The UC Hastings Law Library, located on the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors of Mary Kay Kane Hall, supports the research and educational endeavors of the students and faculty of the UC Hastings College of the Law. The Library's holdings of over 650,000 volumes include an extensive collection of federal, international, and California documents. The Hastings Online Catalog can be used to find books, scholarly law journals, and other materials in the Library's collection. In addition to its print collection, the Library offers access to numerous online databases that
support research in law as well as interdisciplinary studies.
An experienced Library Staff serves the research needs of the Hastings faculty and students. The Librarians answer questions at the Reference Desk, publish research guides, and provide individual research assistance as well as classroom presentations on the use of legal research tools.
