The UC Hastings Encore Catalog is a "google style" search engine to find books and journals in the Hastings Law Library; articles and journals on HeinOnline, Making of Modern Law, ProQuest Research Library and Google Scholar; and materials found in libraries around the world via Worldcat.
UC Hastings Classic Catalog
Use the Classic Library Catalog to locate books, journals, government documents, course reserves, videos and electronic resourses available in the UC Hastings Law Library. Search by keyword, title, author, subject, call number, course name, or course instructor.
FirstSearch
FirstSearch provides online access to WorldCat which is a catalog of books and other materials in libraries worldwide. Use Firstsearch to locate any items not found in the UC Hastings Law Library.

Interlibrary Loan
Faculty can request Interlibrary Loans through their Librarian-Liaison. Faculty may also request interlibrary loan books using Firstsearch, and articles through the Interlibrary Loan Request Form. To renew Interlibrary Loans or any questions please contact Amy Chase, 415-565-4765.
Research Databases
Hastings provides access to a wide range of Online Research Databases. Your name and the barcode number on your ID are required to get access to our electornic resources off-campus. Contact the reference desk: 565-4751 if you cannot connect from off-campus.
Legal Scholarship Network(SSRN)
Online repository for your legal scholarship. SSRN gives you access to the newest works of scholarship before they are published. Register here and set up subject, author, or repository-specific searches. The results will automatically be forwarded to your email.
bepress Legal Repository
The bepress Legal Repository is another online repository for legal scholarship. The bepress notification service allows you to get keyword or author notifications sent to you at the schedule you set. Register here.
Lexis and Westlaw Passwords
